The project
Every holiday season, we all end up with at least one gift that misses the mark. The sweater that doesn’t fit. The book you already own. The kind of present that quietly disappears into a closet.
We turned that familiar problem into a simple act of generosity by creating The Gift of Giving Card, a Hallmark holiday card designed to make donating unwanted gifts effortless. Each card included a prepaid shipping label, so people could attach it to an unopened or gently used gift and drop it at the post office.
Those donations shipped directly to Off The Street Club, a nonprofit youth center in Chicago’s West Garfield Park that provides a safe place for kids to learn, play, and grow.
