The project
Emojions is a personal project exploring emojis as a modern visual language. I use them as raw material for paintings and graphic compositions, testing how meaning shifts when familiar symbols move from communication into a different canvas.
The project expands into Emoji Tarot, a fully designed tarot deck built from emoji archetypes. Each card reimagines a classic tarot role through contemporary emoji symbolism, using a cohesive visual system and naming conventions that feel native to brain rot culture. Draw a spread and the “reading” emerges through the combination, turning modern icons into an interactive art object and a playable game.
